FIBROTAKT®
Precision rotary tables with Hirth face gearing

In 1962, FIBRO launched the world's first indexing table with face gear for the international market: the FIBROTAKT. It was developed for high-precision indexing and is able to withstand high machining loads. A locking mechanism in the FIBROTAKT's face gear ensures high precision and rigidity over the long term. A range of designs and drive types makes it possible to find the perfect solution for any application. The FIBROTAKT built-in indexing table for rotary transfer machines combines the shortest possible cycle times – even with heavy setups – with maximum precision and rigidity.

THE PIONEER

  • High-precision transportation applications
  • Processing applications involving extreme forces
  • Your special application

Your benefits

  • High-precision FIBROTAKT® with face gears for the best geometric accuracies
  • Hydraulic gear locking for maximum resistance against tilting
  • Low profile design for maximum working space
  • Robust, wear-resistant design for long lifespan and low maintenance requirements
  • Comprehensive size range, can be equipped with table top diameter of up to 3,000 mm
  • Transport loads of up to 15 Tons
  • Tried and tested over decades: the pioneer amongst rotary tables for reliable process deployment in your production process

FIBROTAKT® MOUNTING
Rotary Tables

FIBROTAKT® Flush-Mount Tables were developed for use on rotary transfer machines. The concept derives from the well-tried FIBROTAKT®-series and is based on the principle of combining indexing and locking in a non-lifting system of face gear rings.

Besides many other special advantages, FIBROTAKT® Flush-Mount Tables offer the following benefits:

  • housing of uninterrupted round shape, without peripheral protrusions. Underslung drive train. Simple mounting into plain round aperture
  • great rigidity, by virtue of locking into face gear rings of largest possible diameter
  • high indexing accuracy up to ± 1"
  • very fast indexing - even with heavy table loads (also refer to Techn. Data)

  • constant monitoring of actual angular table position via rotary resolver - no need for zero-datum reference approach
  • Version with both horizontal and vertical indexing table
  • a thoroughly tried technology ensures highest service reliability.

ADDITIONAL OPTIONS
FOR ALL FIBROTAKT®

DRIVE TYPES

PNEUMATIC DRIVE

  • Used in the case of small and medium transportation loads, short indexing times and a high indexing frequency

HYDRAULIC DRIVE

  • Used in the case of high transportation loads, short indexing times and a high indexing frequency

ELECTRIC DRIVE

  • Used in applications that require shortest indexing times, and small or random indexing steps. Here, each index position can be adjusted in any order within the number of teeth.

LIFTING/NON-LIFTING TABLE TOP

LIFTING TABLE TOP

  • During positioning, the table top lifts approx. 3 to 4 mm from the housing.
  • Simple, rigid design and maximum precision

NON-LIFTING TABLE TOP

  • During positioning, the table top lifts only minimally, less than 0.1 mm, from the housing.
  • Used when large masses must be moved or there is not sufficient space available for the lifting stroke.
  • Built-in rotary table version

FIBROTAKT®
TECHNICAL HIGHLIGHTS

  • Can be operated hydraulically, pneumatically and electrically
  • Extremely rigid, as there are no bearings engaged during machining
  • Extremely long service life with increasing precision
